Pour Things by Susie Cauchi Art is in my blood—deeply inspired by my mom, sister, and paternal grandmother, whose artistic talents shaped my creative journey.

As an abstract artist specializing in liquid art, I transform emotion into vibrant creations, repurposing paint drippings into mixed media pieces, jewelry, and home décor while also sharing the magic of fluid art through paint parties and workshops. Beyond the canvas, I repurpose my paint drippings into layered skins for mixed media pieces as well as hand-dipped jewelry, accessories and home decor, turning accidental beauty into functional art. Each piece tells a story of spontaneity and transformation, available at local boutiques, retail shops, and regional artisan shows, where I share my passion for art in its many forms. In addition, I bring the magic of fluid art to others through pour painting social parties and workshops, where I guide attendees in exploring the mesmerizing dance of color. With every tilt and swirl, they create their own mini canvas masterpieces and hand-dipped jewelry, capturing the beauty of unpredictability in pieces they can treasure forever.

Helloooo y’all!!! It’s been a minute. Sorry about that. I’ve been busy being a “couch potato”, per Dr’s orders, since having my reconstructive surgery a month ago after my mastectomy from last year.

I had a procedure called Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flap surgery. In short, they took my FUPA and attached blood vessels and made me some new knockers, reattaching the blood vessels in their new home. It’s essentially a transplant using my own skin/fat/blood supply. Pretty Coolio! Anyhoo, I am to be taking it easy and using T-Rex arms to keep everything intact, so I’m limited on what I can do. I haven’t gone anywhere. I’m just laying low for awhile. The good news is I’m cancer free and get a break from surgeries for awhile. 👏🏼

In the meantime, I decided to have one of my “sample” paintings hung in my home that I normally bring to my Pour Things Paint Parties to show many of the techniques you can use in fluid art. I needed some color on the wall I stare at all day!

For those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE my BOHO pants. Y’all have even commented on them and asked where you can get them. Well, I will no longer be sending you all the way to Davis to get some!! I now carry a large assortment in my booth at Fabulous Finds at 512 D Street in Marysville!! These have plenty of room for us “hippy” chicks and they have POCKETS!! Made of rayon and washable in the washing machine. I have always thrown mine in the dryer with no problems.

I promise, you will love these!
