Invincible is one series I don’t get a lot of requests for. I think in my career, I’ve drawn 4 characters. But I’m always up to a new challenge and to learn about new characters.

Today, my wife and I had the opportunity to attend a Totes of Appreciation event for teachers. As I’m gearing up for my year teaching K-2 art, It was nice to be surrounded by likeminded individuals and talk about their successes and challenges.

My wife and I both teach on the same district but see vastly different sides of the students as our classes offer different challenges. This helps us understand the needs of the kids while supporting one another and other staff members.

This event is always a great way to jump start and support all teachers. Tomorrow, I’ll be moving my room and planning how to make my room inviting, encouraging and functional.

Art post might slow down in the next week but there is so much still in the works.
