‼️ A bit about me ‼️
I’m 25 years old based in Younstown, Ohio where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater at YSU in 2023. I have collegiate and professional experience as a performer/musician and stage manager, as well as collegiate experience as a director that I hope to expand on. Some notable achievements from my time earning my BFA is Performing in 7 different cabaret style shows, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, and Mrs.Paroo/ Marion U/S in The Music Man in concert. At my time at YSU I also stage managed two mainstage performances, directed a 10-Minute play titled Graceland and assistant directed Godspell.
Post graduation, I have maintained a staff singer position as the Alto section leader for Christ Episcopal Church Warren, where I have performed for the last 3 years. I also have been doing various day gigs as a vocalist and stage manager for a variety of shows that have including fundraisers, open mics, and local voice studio recitals.
I have been involved with music formally since about 8-9 years old trying my hand at violin, then piano, and finally found my place with choir/singing. I have been in choirs and doing group vocal work for almost 15 years consistently, and have been training as a soloist for about 10 years. I have trained one on one with over 8 different voice teachers in my time as well as many other experienced musicians with group instruction in choirs, and attending many masterclasses in both classical and musical theater style performance.
I was involved with theater since the 6th grade and my love for it has expanded since. I had the opportunity to student direct for the first time in 11th grade and I knew this field is what my future held. My passion lies both on stage and backstage. I am grateful that I have had extensive training in both areas that give me a well-informed and cohesive vision of the theater and the art of performance.
I’m excited to use my knowledge and experience to help others better their skills and grow their love and passion for music, acting, and performance.
