A slight risk of severe thunderstorms has been shifted westward to roughly the I-71 corridor in central Ohio. All hazards associated with severe weather are anticipated today, with damaging winds posing the highest risk( east of I-77 into Pennsylvania) along with isolated large hail, and potentially a couple of brief spin-up tornadoes. The expected timing is between 1-7 pm.

Following a pleasant Saturday, a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible in parts of Ohio, particularly east of I-71 Sunday afternoon, with damaging winds, brief heavy rainfall, and lightning being the primary hazards. Additionally, although unlikely, an isolated spin-up cannot be entirely ruled out. I’ll be out Chasing tomorrow for a few hours!
