Friends, we are still on Zoom for our monthly "jams". This January 2022 jam is on the 9th instead of the first Sunday. Contact Pat, or Patty McCollom for the Zoom login info.

Also, we lost our previous physical meeting/jamming location in Fullerton and are looking for another for when more folks are comfortable meeting in person. If you have any leads on a cheap/free space, please let us know!

Zoom jam this coming Sunday (our traditional 1st Sunday of the month). Courtesy of Patty McCollum, mistress of the digital faux jam. All are welcome. You need the program Zoom (free), a computer with high speed Internet service or iOS device with a data plan (iPhone/iPad) and some patience in navigating the usual tech vagueries. A mic and earphones make things a lot better sounding, but not strictly necessary. YMMV. Because of latency issues, you essentially end up in a duet with whoever leads the tune. And you get to see everyone’s smiling faces, have a chat and see how everyone is doing after way too many months of this trying pandemic. Even if it is not at all like being together, I find playing in remote duet worthwhile. Patty has the email link to the session, so let us know if you need the link!

We still can't get into the building in Fullerton for our district 4 Calif Old Time Fiddlers. We're still locked out due to COVID restrictions. Any ideas on a new location?

I just talked to Pete. He's turning 98 in a few days.
If there is a way we can jam outdoors, he would like to join in.
