This is my least favorite design because there’s a very heartbreaking and awful reason I had to create it.

It’s a really big deal when any first responder passes, but when it’s one of your own who has helped you evolve into who you are today, and stood beside you for YEARS, it’s a bit different. I created these in honor of our late friend and Battalion Chief Nick Page. This man made more of an impact in my life than most ever had. He taught me how to be a great firefighter and an even better paramedic. I’d give anything to have him back, but God needed him more! Rest in peace, we got it from here.

As a small business owner, a firefighter/paramedic, and a military veteran, I want you to know that I have spent my life giving to others and I have just as much emotion as anyone else. If you’d like to read my small dedication to our late BC, read on. If not, that’s okay, but I do like to honor him every time I create something for him.

Thank you for all the memories you created and all the times you called me out so I could be better. I still make coffee first thing in the morning whether I’m drinking it or not, and I can’t thank you enough for helping us get our little one into soccer. I hope you know that every time she goes on that field, it’s in honor of you.

Unfortunately, I had to sew these patches on a uniform for the funeral of a good friend and great firefighter recently. There are so many sewing projects in the works right now but all work has stopped until the celebration of life for our good friend.
