Exciting News!! Transponder Technology is Upon Us🏁
Transponders are more than just a scoring system — they are a learning and development tool for both drivers and handlers. They provide accurate lap times, consistency tracking, and performance data that can help better understand driver progress, setup changes, and overall improvement throughout the season.

They also help create more accurate scoring, quicker results, and consistency between tracks while introducing young drivers to technology that is already standard throughout motorsports.

We truly believe this is a positive step forward for our clubs and our young drivers as we continue working to build and improve our racing programs for the future.

We also understand that some families may have concerns about the added cost of implementing transponders, especially at the local level. As we move forward, there will be different options available, and we will do our best to keep costs as reasonable and affordable as possible because we understand every dollar invested into racing matters.

We also recognize that local club car counts have been smaller in recent years, and continuing to grow quarter midget racing will take all of us working together as a community. Supporting our clubs, promoting events like "Arrive &Drives", welcoming new families, and encouraging participation are all important parts of helping ensure a strong future for the sport we all love.

🏁 Transponders are coming to COQMRA! 🏁

As many of you know, we are partnering with Mac-O-Chee and Miami to begin utilizing electronic scoring. We’re excited to bring this technology to the track to help improve race day operations and consistency between tracks.

We will be utilizing the MYLAPS system - the same system Toledo is using. Families will be able to view live timing updates, lap times, and race results through the Speedhive app during and after race day events.

We plan to begin using the system this upcoming race weekend. If you already have a MYLAPS transponder, please bring it with you to sign-ins at the tower. If you do not have one, transponders will be available for purchase or rent.
