Remember how I said we had *most things* packed away (for now)? Yeah .. the rest were reloaded right back onto the trailer. Bertha and Uncle Sam are locked and loaded and officially road trip ready for their trip to Thermopolis. Poor Bertha, she has a lot work left to do this summer before she can take a little R & R 🤣 On to the next! 🎉

...and that’s a wrap on the 2026 Washakie County Fair. Our first year at the fair is officially in the books, and, phew, what a week it was 😮‍💨

This photo is the reality behind a week at the fair. After cleaning, packing, and rolling what feels like a million pounds of vinyl, then loading trailers and getting *most things* packed away, our muscles are tired, our bodies are exhausted ... but our hearts are full.

This week we saw hundreds of smiling faces, thousands of trips down the slides, and countless races through the obstacle course. Seeing so many kids laughing, burning off their endless energy, and simply being kids is exactly why we started O’Yeah! Parties & Events. Thank you to every family who chose to spend part of their fair week with us. Your support means more than you know and we’re so grateful we had the opportunity to be a small part of your kids’ summer memories.

Thank you to the Washakie County Fair Board and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to put on another incredible fair for our community. Events like this don’t happen without countless hours of planning and hard work, and we truly appreciate everything you do.

A HUGE shoutout to Cody, who somehow got roped into volunteering all week when The Strong One’s back decided that this week was not the week to be strong. From checking wristbands, keeping an eye on the kids, helping with setup and teardown, and simply jumping in wherever he was needed, he was a huge part of making this week a success. We truly couldn’t have done it without him, and we’re so grateful for every single hour he gave us.

Thank you as well to all of the vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, and organizations who helped make this year’s fair such a success. And to everyone who came out and supported local businesses all week long—thank you. We truly have an incredible community, and we’re grateful to be a part of it.

And finally ... let’s take a moment of silence for the approximately 247 socks that didn’t make it home this week. May they rest in peace 🪦 🧦😂

If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy the inflatables yet, tomorrow is the LAST day! Unfortunately, we have to take the obstacle down so the crew can get ready for the concert, but we’ll have the water slide going throughout the day! Perfect way to have fun and stay cool while still enjoying the triple digits.

That’s a wrap another night at the fair. We seem to be accumulating quite the collection of socks, shoes, and even a couple of cell phones. Not the kids, they’re already spoken for 😂 Parents, if your kids show up missing anything, we have a pile growing in front of our canopy.

I’d also like to remind everyone to please mindful of throwing away your garbage - we want everyone to have the best time in a clean space while being respectful of the Fairgrounds.
