A huge congrats to Brooklyn Telemann Chamber Society on their successful premiere of Phèdre! 💖

This project pushed me out of my comfort zone in so many ways. I feel like a much different (and stronger) artist and person than I was 3 years ago when we filmed...

BUT that's why I'm especially excited to return to Brooklyn Telemann Chamber Society this November to sing my first Monteverdi role: Giunone in Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria! Follow them for updates ✨

My relationship with The Barber of Seville is a long and complicated one. I wrote about this a bit in my program notes for Boston Summer Opera's performances this weekend, but Barbiere is the opera that made me absolutely fall in love with opera and know that this was what I needed to do. So when I got my first post-grad school contract to cover Berta with a professional opera company, it felt like a really important sign from the universe. Then, COVID hit... so, I wasn't sure what that sign from the universe meant and hadn't really touched the show since.

UNTIL (the other) BSO was planning A Bel Canto Summer and realized we had the perfect singers amongst our BSO alumni (and also Autumn lol 🫶🏻) to take on the principal roles in this massive, amazing work! Staging and executive-directing this production of 58 artists(!!!!!!!) has been such a joy. Boston Summer Opera has all the ticket info if you want to have a really fun theater/music/opera experience in Boston this weekend 🧡💛

tldr; come see The Barber of Seville this weekend!

This was my FIRST time singing this publicly and with orchestra, let alone with accompaniment, during a final dress rehearsal for La Traviata! Hopefully the first of many times I'll get to sing this masterpiece 🥰

I got to sing some Violetta last night!!!!!! 🥹🥰

Like many sopranos, Violetta is my absolute dream role. I'd never sung any of the role with piano before, or in front of anyone besides my voice teacher, so this was really exciting and special. Many thanks to for the trust and opportunity! 🎶
