This is not ok. Love and nonviolence over all, always.
Hey friends. We've gotten a lot of messages, emails, and texts checking in on us, and we appreciate it. Yes, something happened at the shop Sunday night. We're safe, and we're working with the Cobleskill Police Department.
No, I will not post images, videos, or information of a minor on the internet. That's weird, and y'all are weird for repeatedly asking me to.
No, I don't care if you don't like me, my business, how I run my business, the products I sell, or how I handled this. If you don't like it, don't shop here. Every business is not for you.
Yes, I will continue to fly a Pride flag, make and sell thousands of bars of soap a month (while donating to and stocking every pantry in the county, mind you), and exist right here in Cobleskill alongside other q***r folks.
As I've said many times before, our community has a very vocal hateful minority, but by and large is full of lovely, supportive, amazing people. And this week, we have felt that, so thank you.
I truly believe a rising tide lifts all boats. Even if people want to hate, I know that we all benefit when a community comes together to make the world a more joyful, supportive, and inclusive place, and we choose to focus on that. 🥰
p.s. Anyone have recommendations for a glass/window repair company? 😂
