Ohio Light Opera’s 2026 season is a carefully crafted journey through the best of lyric theater, musical theater, and operetta.
Each summer, Artistic Director Steven Daigle starts with a formula that balances audience favorites with new discoveries: typically two Golden Age-style musicals (this year, “My Fair Lady” and “Damn Yankees”), one rarely-seen 1930s-era musical (“The Boys from Syracuse”), and three contrasting operettas (“The Merry Widow,” “The Yeomen of the Guard,” and “The Red Mill”). With this mix of shows, OLO honors its mission while pushing the limits a bit by adding new repertoire like “Damn Yankees” and “The Boys from Syracuse,” both being produced at the OLO for the first time this summer.
Join us for a truly memorable season, beginning in less than two weeks!
