After a generous donation from Stroll Through History in Woodland, work began to restore an early 20th century Southern Pacific Hide-Side baggage wagon. All but one piece of wood was replaced while all metal parts and wheels were maintained. After nearly two years, Marv and Richard stand by the finished cart. The cart was donated in 2013 by a Galt resident and it is believed to have been used somewhere in the Sacramento Valley.

Well...We tried to get that semaphore in place today. It said..."Not today!" Thanks to the hard work of our neighbors the Guardian workers it just wouldn't happen today! They spent over 3 hours. We will get it on there soon.
