Welcome to Making Magic, where we Bring Imagination to Life at the Best and Lowest Price! We are a princess and costume character company located in Woburn, Massachusetts that provides family-friendly and affordable entertainment for Birthday Parties and other events in the Middlesex county area as well as in and around Boston!
In order to fully tell our story, its best we start at the beginning with our founder Emily Sullivan. Emily has been an avid lover of costumed characters since the age of four. In fact, during her first trip to Disney World she only met characters and did nothing else! She always wanted to share her love of this very unique brand of entertainment to those around her. At the age of eight, she started volunteering as a costumed character at school events, festivals, and other events around her hometown of Woburn and continues to do so to this very day!
In April of 2012, Emily began a professional career as a costumed character performer for Chuck E Cheese’s. During her time with the company, she has assisted their characters more than 20,000 times in four separate states and has also won multiple awards for her performances. These included “Best in Chuck E” and “Star Cast Member of the Month”. Emily is also notably one of the co-hosts and founders of Chuck E Con, an unofficial convention for fans of Chuck E Cheese’s. This event garnished more than 100 participants in its inaugural year and received national acclaim for its one-of-a-kind production.
In October of 2014 Emily got an Ice Princess costume for Halloween. While wearing it she was asked by multiple people if she did birthday parties. She then got an idea. The rest...is history.
Now five years later, Making Magic is bigger and better than ever! We are one of the most unique party companies on the market finding new ways to make our parties exciting and fun! What makes our company stand out from the rest is that all of our performers have been trained in both theater and children’s entertainment so when it comes to parties, we know what’s best! Our clients also love our LIVE custom made sing along performances, games, and activities! Every party also comes with a personalized gift and card from the character of your choice as well!
The most important part of all of our parties is our character assistants. They act as our guides and your hosts. We strive to ensure that all of our parties are not just fun, but safe too! We also want you as our client to have a hassle-free party. That means that we do the work while you relax!
