Records custodianship is easy to overlook until a practice is closing, transitioning, retiring, or moving into a new structure.

Then the questions start.

Where will medical records live?
How will patients request access?
Who handles document scanning, EMR file migration, and record requests after the transition?

Red House Medical Billing helps practices manage those details with the care and organization they deserve.

It is one of those services that may not feel urgent until it suddenly matters a lot.

If your practice is preparing for a transition, we can help: https://redhousemed.com/

Meet Kath Talavera, Red House’s Most Improved team member for August. 🎉

Kath has been part of the Red House team since January 2024 and works as an Accounts Receivable, Medical Biller, and Payment Posting Specialist.

In her role, Kath helps keep important revenue cycle details moving with accuracy and care. She checks and posts manual EOBs, balances unapplied payments, and prioritizes claims based on payor filing deadlines to support stronger revenue recovery.

One lesson that has helped her grow at Red House is learning how to manage her time more effectively, stay focused on team targets, and help lower denials.

For Kath, being named Most Improved came as a surprise. She shared that there are so many deserving people on the team, which makes the recognition feel even more meaningful.

Outside of work, Kath recharges by swimming at the beach, taking in the scenery, and enjoying good food.

Congratulations, Kath! We’re grateful for the focus, growth, and care you bring to Red House.

Offshore support can help practices and facilities scale, but the structure matters.

Lower cost only helps if the work is managed well. Billing teams still need training, oversight, clean communication, and a process that matches the way the practice actually operates.

That is where Red House Medical Billing comes in.

Our offshore support is built around revenue cycle work, operational accountability, and the kind of follow-through practices need when volume grows.

The goal is not to add more hands without direction. It is to build support that strengthens the work already happening.

We bill better because we’re built better.

Patient balances can become a bigger problem when the process around them is unclear.

A confusing bill, a hard-to-find payment option, or a delayed follow-up can all make it easier for patient dollars to sit unpaid. That affects collections, but it also affects the patient experience.

Patients expect healthcare billing to be easier than it often is. They want clear information, simple payment access, and fewer back-and-forth calls just to understand what they owe.

At Red House Medical Billing, we help practices create a cleaner patient balance process so payments are easier to manage on both sides.

Better billing should feel better for the practice and the patient.

Adding a new physician or opening a new location can create payor record issues that do not always show up right away.

A roster mismatch, outdated enrollment detail, or missing update can eventually turn into denied claims, delayed reimbursement, and more follow-up for your team.

Payor Enrollment Optimization helps keep the records behind your billing aligned with the way your practice is actually growing.

At Red House Medical Billing, we help practices manage the details that sit between credentialing, payor relationships, and getting paid.

Growth is easier to support when the payor side is clean.

An A/R aging report can tell you where revenue is starting to slow down.

Old balances may point to stalled claims, weak follow-up, patient payment friction, payor issues, or underpayments that need a closer look.

The problem is that many practices review the report without enough context. They see the numbers, but not always the pattern behind them.

Red House Medical Billing helps practices look at A/R with more clarity, so revenue issues are easier to identify and act on.

If money is sitting longer than it should, there is usually a reason.

Let’s find it: https://calendly.com/redhousejeff/30min

Growth can put real pressure on a billing team.

More physicians. More locations. More claims. More follow-up. More reporting.

At some point, the process that worked before may not be enough to support the volume in front of you now.

Red House Medical Billing partners with practices and facilities that need more structure, more capacity, and stronger follow-through across the revenue cycle. For some teams, that means added support behind the scenes. For others, it means a deeper look at where billing workflows are starting to strain.

Growth should not create blind spots in your revenue cycle.

Practices that wait until Q4 to fix patient balance workflows may already be behind.

By the time deductible season starts creating more pressure, the process should already be clear. Patients should know what they owe, how to pay, and who to contact with questions. Your team should know how balances are being followed up on, where payments are getting stuck, and what needs attention before the year closes.

August is a good month to look at the pieces that affect patient dollars before the busiest stretch hits.

If the process feels loose now, it will not get easier when volume and patient responsibility increase.

Let’s talk about what needs to be tightened before Q4: https://calendly.com/redhousejeff/30min

Internal credentialing gets harder to manage as facilities grow.

A checklist can help organize the process, but it will not catch every issue that affects revenue. Approvals, payor records, facility mapping, roster updates, and documentation all need to stay aligned as physicians are added, locations change, and payor requirements shift.

When those details fall out of sync, the impact can show up later in denials, delays, and reimbursement problems that are harder to trace back to the source.

RHMB helps facilities approach internal credentialing as an ongoing operational process, with the follow-through needed to keep enrollment records, documentation, and billing workflows moving in the same direction.

Keep credentialing aligned with the revenue it supports:

Many practices can tell when something is slowing revenue down, but the exact issue is not always clear from standard reports. Denials may be increasing in one area, payor issues may be creating extra follow-up, and payment delays may be harder to track across teams.

That is where better visibility matters.

RHMB helps practices connect reporting, billing workflows, and revenue cycle strategy so decisions are based on what is actually happening inside the process.

With stronger visibility, practices can make better financial decisions before small issues become larger revenue problems.
