We had a wonderful reception yesterday for our show called “SHARE YOUR ART” at 1ST STREET GALLERY IN WINTERS. We had 22 paintings that people brought in to share, along with a statement about how they acquired this art or what the story was behind it. Here are some of the paintings.

One was a dragonfly painting done by a San Quentin inmate, one contained a granddaughter‘s samples of her grandmother‘s kimono fabrics and one was a hand embroidered, batiked banner made by a North Vietnamese village woman. Wonderful stories enjoyed be all.
