"Wrath Awakened"
In a lake of lost souls, there is one who sees Ominous Grim for what he truly is. A dark spirit who seeks out those weakened to their breaking point. He infects the soul of his prey with dark intentions and brands it with a mark that gives him complete control.
Ominous Grim seeks out Clara, an innocent little girl who was taken from her loving family and tortured for years. She lived in hellish ways at the Covington House, but one of the caretakers secretly protected her and taught her how to use spells and mind control to withstand the pain. This maid provided Clara with hope and a glimpse of revenge through witchcraft.
Clara is testing her new ability to incarnate her soul from anywhere and fight off Grim’s infection. Using these newly learned spells to pull the dark matter from Ominous, Clara gains the ability to control others and awaken the minds of the remaining residents trapped in the house on the lake. These newly awakened souls feed on the hurt that Clara experienced, but this quickly grows beyond Clara’s control. The tormented souls snap and turn to torture to remedy their pain.
A group of the most powerful souls, the Awakened, seek refuge deeper in the swamp to practice their witchcraft. The newly formed coven cleanses and converts tortured souls to inflict pain on anyone who crosses their path.
The Awakening has just begun. Revenge is cast on all who enter.
