How many of you are perfectionists?

I can admit, I was, until I learned that being a perfectionist is my seeing what's wrong with things in which is opposite of what I am trying to create in myself. Interesting, right??

I am a member of The Inner Matrix System and studying Intuition this 12 weeks. I have learned so much in myself in the past year and how to transform my thought process to look at the brighter side of life. Life can't get any better than that!! Right????

Let me introduce you to "Great Barn Owl". I enjoyed doing this in memory of our Labrador Retriever, Chance, which we lost 3 years ago.

The evening after we put Chance down, I was sitting in our dark living room 2:00 am, I heard an owl outside, very loud, as if it was sitting on the other side of the sliding doors watching me. This was the first time I had heard this beautiful Animal.

The next morning, I researched the significance of an owl visiting after a death. Remarkably, it said Owl brings a message from the afterlife! Right then, I felt that it was a sign from Chance, thanking us for a wonderful 21 years of life with our family!

Basset Hound Quick Facts:

They make great movie stars - Sam in Thats so Raven, Stella in The Princess and the Frog.

The logo for Hush Puppies notably features a basset hound.

Marilyn Monroes basset, Hugo, appeared in several iconic photos with the star.

They are sweet tempered, affectionate, tenacious, friendly, devoted and gentle.

This portrait of Nanny was done a couple years ago. What do you think her eyes are saying??

I just finished this kangaroo. What a different kind of species that I am not familiar with. And their feet, have you looked at a kangaroo's feet?!! Ha ha ha

I used Fabriano Artistico Acquarello Canvas, Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache Luminance, Derwent Lightfast pencils. I am debating on adding the grass as I wasn't able to get the detail I prefer on this type canvas.
