He has been through so much in his life and he is still one of the happiest people I know. If you are able to donate to help us with all the cost please do. But either way please share his page. As the Eclipse began. Early in the night, the moon was barely visible as it peeked over the hillsides. As the night grew darker, the brilliant shape and color became more and more apparent.

Lower Proxy Falls

Just off the McKenzie Pass Highway. We stopped in on our latest trip home from Bend, Oregon. At 226 feet high, it is fed from springs on the shoulder of North Sister. Beautiful greenery, mossy vegetation covering the grounds and the rock face.

Bamboo of Mingus Park.

Nestled under a hillside forest of old cedars and other evergreens at the north end of Mingus Park, Choshi Garden was created to honor the sister city of Coos Bay: Choshi, Japan.

Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind.

Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigit, outward things will disclose themselves.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

The wind in Bandon was exceptionally strong today. With the tide receding and the light soon to fade, I found myself at the Coquille River Lighthouse. A very quiet evening, very few people visiting the park. Very peaceful.

I never get tired of seeing the brilliance and beauty of a sunset over Face Rock, Bandon. Just found this photo in my collection that was taken around this time last year.

Itsy Bitsy....Fly?

It is about that time for all things creepy crawly and goes bump in the night. I happen to have quite a fear of spiders. Apparently the fly in this photo does not. This guy was enormous and hairy. To me, a bad combination and I'm sure I'll be thinking of him while I'm trying to fall asleep tonight :(
