About the Artist Mimi Sloan

Muriel Sloan is a native of Chicago, Illinois, now living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in August 2018 suffered a major stroke that left her left side totally paralyzed. It was her faith in God that gave her strength to have the determination to fight for her recovery. It was the dedication of her therapists, the support from her church, and the love from her family that brought her through beyond expectations! Muriel says that God spared her life for a purpose. It was in this search that Beautifully Broken Work Of Art Hustle was created! Muriel discovered she had an artistic gift for painting! The signature used for these expressions of Muriel’s interpretations is her nickname from childhood Mimi.
