Ok, I know I have been promoting the Crossroads Music Festival - Leesburg, VA a lot on my feed, but I want you to join us for this history-making music event tomorrow and Saturday. Never has there been a concert of this scale presented on the grounds of the Loudoun County Courthouse!! Saturday you can purchase a $10 ticket and bring your Vanish b**r and/or 868 Estate Vinyards w**e on to the Courthouse property and enjoy a show headlined by Sister Hazel and supported by Loudoun's own Juliana Walker MacDowell with Marion Gibson Sheaffer and the Agreeables, and Benefits with Friends, an ensemble created by the union of ALLSK8.band and Frayed Knots , (yes, I am in both), and comprised of Board Members of Benefit.Live, the organization producing Crossroads Music Festival.
Uncle Drew and the Scoundrels and Piper Stewart round off this terrific bill for Saturday!
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Lol Tolhurst from The Cure will be interviewed by Amy Bobchek for a stroll through his amazing career in promotion of his new book "Goth-A History" at the Tally Ho Theater starting at 2:00 Saturday.
There will also be live music showcases at your favorite Downtown Leesburg music venues Saturday afternoon and evening!! See our website for the schedule !!
Crossroads kicks off Friday night at the Leesburg Village Green with "Rhythm and Brews", featuring Contemporary Jazz and Funk Saxophonist Lil'Maceo, supported by DC's premier Hip-Hop band Intellect, and local Funk, Blues and Motown heroes Jumptown !! (Yes, I am the "Ringleader" in Jumptown). Benefit President Amy Bobchek will be singing with us and Juliana MacDowell will be joining us on a song as well !!
While there are plenty of reasons to enjoy yourself in Leesburg this weekend, you will also be supporting important local charities like Loudoun Youth, Inc, The Salvation Army, Dulles Food Pantry, NOVA Diaper Bank and the Loudoun Education Foundation by supporting Crossroads with your ticket purchase.
So be a part of Leesburg History this weekend at Crossroads Music Festival.
