Our dream garden project was a distant thing until March of this year when the timing all of a sudden seemed appropriate. A ton of time at home and the obvious benefits of fresh vegetables and eggs were easy motivators. Now, seven months later, we’re still fine tuning and managing a mischievous flock of 15 chickens, but it all feels right and we’re so glad we had the time and energy to get it up and running. Our beautiful quilt met an unfortunate and accidental fate with a washing machine and dryer a few weeks ago. The quilt top was a vintage top that I bought shortly after we moved to Wimberley and I lovingly and gently hand quilted it to some beautiful wildflower fabric I had in my stash. It was an accident and I never disclosed it to the person that sent it through the traditional wash. Here I go, lovingly and gently repairing each black piece on the top. ❤️ @ Wimberley, Texas

I purchased this beautiful black and white quilt top several months ago and realized pretty quickly that it was destined to be paired with a wildflower fabric I was gifted. I just finished hand quilting it last week and it was just in time for the bluebonnets to bloom. Our fresh new master bedroom is even more cozy with this giant king sized quilt. 💚

Pardon the unintentional hiatus, my friends. It must have had something to with moving, second child, new job business? Here is a sweet new personal project for my darling girl, Emmylou. She’s a horse lover and this was a lot easier and cheaper than buying her a real one for Christmas. New twin sized quilt in the works. 💚

Preview of a little diddy I laid out in the sewing shop today. I think it will make a gorgeous finished quilt! One of my favorite aspects of sewing (and quilting especially) is playing with patterns and colors. This piece coming soon to the shop!
