Life certainly has a way of taking us in new directions. ❤️

It’s bittersweet to share that it’s time for me to step away from owning Board & Brush Newark.

Becoming a mom to my two boys is my greatest blessing, but it has also changed my priorities and, unfortunately, taken me away from the studio and from doing what I’ve always loved most — creating alongside all of you. The absolute best part of owning this small business has been the incredible customers who have walked through our doors, celebrated milestones, made memories, and filled the studio with so much laughter and creativity.

As much as I love this business, I also know that this studio has so much more potential than I’m able to give it right now. It deserves someone who can pour their time, energy, creativity, and heart into it and continue making it a special part of our community.

While I’m ready to start my next adventure and fully embrace this crazy, beautiful season of motherhood, I’m hopeful that the right person will step in and take Board & Brush Newark into its next chapter. Someone who’s excited about being their own boss, inspiring others, building something of their own, and creating the same kind of memories that made this place so special to me.

There’s still a lot to unfold as we figure out what the next chapter will look like, but one thing I know for sure is that I would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible back in the studio before the end. ❤️ If you’ve been meaning to come in, have a project you’ve been wanting to make, or simply want one more night of creating and laughing with us, I hope you’ll make it happen.

🦸🏻‍♂️ Enjoy free superhero fun for all ages including superhero meets and training, tactical laser tag, face painting, photobooth with AI superhero transformations, testing your superhero strength through obstacles and jousting, and taking down villains through our scavenger hunt for a prize! There will also be visits with first responders; performances by K9 units, Monarch Drumline, Padua Dance Team and more; and Lightening McQueen and the Batmobile will be there for picture ops!
