Of the 10 watercolor pieces I had available for sale at the Landfall Foundation Art Show today, **SEVEN found new homes!**

I’ve already made two trips back to restock for tomorrow, and I truly cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible support of my art. It means more to me than you know.

A quick shout-out to the man behind the scenes who helps bring so many of my ideas to life. ❤️

I wasn’t happy with how the standard black artist bins looked in my space at Uptown Market, so Clint and I spent part of the weekend in this crazy heat building these new display bins—and I absolutely love how they turned out. He built them, and I painted each one to coordinate with my custom driftwood frames.

It may look like “just” a display, but details like these make such a difference in how my artwork is presented. I’m incredibly grateful to have someone beside me who is always willing to lend a hand, build a wall, package an order, or tackle whatever crazy idea I come up with next. 😊

🐢 Announcing the Release of the Original ‘The Topsail Turtle’ — A Painting with a Purpose 🩵

I’m excited to share that the original watercolor painting, ‘The Topsail Turtle’, is officially being released and will be available for viewing and purchase this Saturday, July 25th at Uptown Market’s Customer Appreciation Day.

This painting was inspired by the quiet beauty, strength, and resilience of the loggerhead sea turtle—and by the extraordinary work of the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center on Topsail Island. 🐢💙

As this turtle glides effortlessly through the water, her welcoming gaze seems to meet yours. Bubbles drift softly around her, subtly hinting at the fragility of the environment that surrounds her while reminding us that even the smallest actions can ripple outward and create meaningful change. 🫧

Although sea turtles are remarkably strong, their survival increasingly depends upon our willingness to protect their nesting grounds and the fragile world beneath the waves. 🌊

That is why 25% of the proceeds from the sale of this original painting will be donated to the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center to support its work rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting these magnificent creatures. 🐢💙

My hope is that The Topsail Turtle will find a home where she brings the peaceful beauty of the ocean into someone’s life—while also helping protect the sea life that inspired her.
