April 6-7, noon to noon, rally with fellow Seahawks to support the UNCW area that matters to you!

Starting today at noon, for 24 hours, the UNCW family will rally together like never before as part of #SeahawksGive. During the 24-hour timeline, support the UNCW area that matters most to you, for a chance to increase your gift through challenges and match opportunities.

Over one year has passed since we closed Kenan Auditorium and the Office of the Arts began working safely from our homes. It was almost inconceivable that we would still be at home over one year later. As vaccines become widely available, and we begin to realize the future, we would like to pause and share some highlights from the past year. We are proud to have reached you in the safety of your cars with Curbside Cinema, and in your homes with our online programs. We are proud of our work to always remember that Black Lives Matter and our work with our community partners and local artists to strengthen our resolve, resilience, and diversity both inside and outside the theatre. We are an Office of the Arts like no other. And we strive to bring you incredible cultural arts programming even in the most difficult of circumstances.

At Kenan Auditorium and in the Office of the Arts, we take seriously the comfort, safety, and peace of mind of our patrons. We are prepared to put that front-and-center, as always, when we return. We are working tirelessly to ensure our patrons come back safely to the collective joy of live performance. We will keep you posted with progress and updates.

We are excited about the future and are ever grateful for your unwavering support of the arts at UNCW. Your participation during Seahawks Give also fuels opportunities for the future as part of Like No Other: The Campaign for UNCW. With your help, it will be an inspiring 24 hours like no other.

Please consider, if you have not already, making a donation. Give to the arts here: https://givingday.uncw.edu/giving-day/30883/department/30902
