Wilmington’s first escape room is closing. It is with both joy for the next chapter and sadness that we are closing Cape Fear Escape Room. This Sunday, Sept. 3, will be our last day. We opened the first escape room in the Cape Fear Region in 2015 as a pop up after we were introduced to the concept in Canada. We only expected to be in business for a year. Now, three years later, there are a dozen or more escape rooms from Jacksonville to Carolina Beach. We are proud to have been there from the beginning and thrilled the industry is thriving.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU to our loyal customers and incredible employees. The last few years would not have been possible without you. Your enthusiasm, loyalty, feedback, cheerleading and good wishes were appreciated more than you will ever know. Knowing we have that support, we are closing to give us time and energy to work on a couple of new ideas, so stayed tuned ...
And finally, we will be having a HUGE sale in September. Our backroom is stuffed with props, tools, furniture and lots of oddities. Everything will go. We’ll announce the time and date ASAP on Facebook. If you haven’t yet played our games, we still have tickets left for this weekend. Use code AUGUST20 to get tickets for just $20.
With so much gratitude,
Cape Fear Escape Room
