Wow what a weekend that was for the Nice Couch history books! Thank you to all the old school couch heads for coming out and the new ones we had the pleasure of performing for live for the first time. We had people come hours away from Raleigh, Myrtle, and even Virginia to catch the shows. You all are the real MVPs and what keeps this couch train rollin full speed ahead! Friday night we made our debut at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Wilmington NC and were welcomed as if we had been there before. The ownership and staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating and made us feel at home. They got a good vibe going on over there. If your in the Wilmington area it's defiantly a place worth checking out. It felt soo good to be back at Jimmy's Wrightsville Beach Saturday night! You can't beat the crowd we had there! It was packed to the brim and we had people RAGING and the whole place was bouncing. WHAT the FORK WiLmington part 2... After dinner we strolled around downtown and came across a quaint little bar called Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. We ordered an Irish Coffee followed by an Irish Car Bomb. The Irish Coffee was amazing, the foam was black walnut infused and so delicious. The Irish Car Bomb was Guinness with a shot of Baileys Irish Cream dropped in. It was good but not my fav I preferred the Irish Coffee. We went back to the room for a bit then went back to this little bar where we had several of their other signature cocktails. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Wilmington NC gets a big ole ✅ from us! After a few drinks we strolled on over to the Shucking Shack for a late night snack. We ordered grilled shrimp nachos and calamari (not pictured). Both dishes were cooked perfectly, the shrimp was well seasoned and the calamari was lightly breaded and tender. Great late night (hahaha 10pm) snack! Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar gets a big ole ✅ from us!
