This piece will be available for purchase Friday April, 22 at ACME Art Studios. There will be a gallery full of art for purchase with 100% of the proceeds going to the World Central Kitchen to benefit the Ukraine Refugees. The exhibition will be up until May 20th.

Take a deep dive into the Contemporary Creative Community of North Carolina.
The STATE OF THE ART exhibition focuses on contemporary art by artists currently living in, or native to, the state of North Carolina.
Artists are invited to bring a single work of art to be installed in the museum, delivering the work within a 24-hour period. During this timeframe, nationally renowned curators will be present to greet each artist.
Show up with your art anytime between 5pm on 4/1 and 5pm on 4/2 (yes, 24 hour submission window) for consideration!

Stroll through Pinkie's Memories and you will see the life of Pinky and her family in miniature. This idea of preserving personal and family history has a deep connection to memory jars, vessels that have trinkets, shells, jewelry, coins and other items that capture the memory of a loved one.
Fritzi Huber and Dina Greenberg offer a unique opportunity to explore these treasures, Pinky's Memories exhibition, and create an object during a day at CAM. In this five-hour workshop: (1) you will first use (your chosen) objects to spark a brief work of creative writing: poetry, prose, or hybrid (2) create a three-dimensional "memory jar" to capture the meaning of your treasures. Enjoying a great article about Angela Rowe in Wrightsville Beach Magazine's December issue.
In November 2020, the world was well into peak pandemic fatigue. Paired with shorter days, cold weather, and dying greenery, it was hard to find color in such bleak settings. The month perfectly encapsulated the feeling of walking into winter during a time that already held innate darkness.
