Using experiential and communicative methods, Hip Hop culture is more than what we see in mass media, Rap is but one sub-genre of it. Hip Hop is part improvisation, part poetry, and part structured literacy and practice. Sociocultural pedagogy, integrated with semiotics within arts and humanities, provides a catalyst for TESOL methods that elicit key and target language, from this rich and robust

lifestyle and culture. Alex Templeton is a Roselander whose love for poetry started when he was 11. He began writing songs and Hip Hop lyrics with his friends and schoolmates from all backgrounds as a teenager. He continued his passion of songwriting, musical production and activism within solidarity of various cultural student groups as a performer and host for MEChA's poetry variety nights in college. He has taught Poetics and Politics: Ethnic Studies in middle and high schools, and he continues to infuse his love of words, music, and languages with this profession through his Master's work by recording, performing, writing, and teaching - language arts, transliteration, and intercultural communication within marginalized communities.

Going rates so far for recording and learning sessions, and instrument repair:

"Show out!"
$35 per hour for 3 people adult or child. If over 3 people are in the same party, little or big, and if engaged in the same activity or project, 10 per hour increase every 3 people. Does not include a recorded session if requested.

"Audio Art!"
$40 per hour with Audio recorded sessions and files emailed or shared of "Show outs!"

"Musical memories"
$45 per hour with audio, Professional online video and a DVD burned of "Show out!"

"Jam Session"
$20 per hour for recording your instruments, 35$ for using ours for any improvised or written pieces, jams, or organic demos.

"Demos or auditions"
Prices per hour start at $45 per hour for production, mixing, mastering, and with $20 more per hour for optional distribution through Tunecore online via nearly all MUSIC platforms (artist split percentage easily 100% given to you).

"Instrument repair"
Our team starts at $35 an hour, But will first evaluate any needs and the tools necessary within the first hour to offer a quote estimate if it will be more than this. We also offer sliding scale, depending on the job after this first hour..
