It’ll make you plan and choreograph your install, and is the best encouragement you can have to keep it clean.. cause few things are worse than sticky feet.

Come join me and Danz Handz October 6th and 7th at Meghan’s Supply & Design, LLC as we share some techniques and dive into the the methods to our individual styles. We will be focusing on countertop applications with a little dash of floor know how. I’ll be discussing color theory, how to work with layering to take pours to new depths, along with ins and outs of pigments.

Satisfied with how it came together for a first go at replicating a painting. 4 layers so lots of depth and color shifting pigments. This piece is 2’x4’ so I’m sure I could lay down some wild looks similar to this as countertops. Few more goes at it and I’ll most likely figure out a way to do it as a floor too.

Bulletproof Resins Mach 1, Top coated with BallistiX Coatings & Sealers Counterattack+ once cured. Possibly the best combination you can lay down for a countertop.

Mach 1 has a great working time (I’ve managed to push it to nearly an hour!), fantastic cure times for a quick turn around, and touts UV inhibitors and great durability.

CounterAttack+ adds additional scratch resistance, UV protection, stain resistance, anti microbial properties, and is heat resistant up to an insane 1400 degrees. The best part? It is simple to apply and is dry to the touch in 3 hours. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Going to be venturing into some wild styles for some pours. To be completely honest, I rarely get much of anything out of replicating stone. The process can be fun but it doesn’t light me up and make me feel fulfilled. So a while back I decided I was going to try to do some pours based on the work of one of my all time favorite artists, and humans in general,

I wouldn’t be where I am in life right now without having grown up seeing her art journey. So many times I had people that were supposed to have authority in my life telling me aRt IsNt A rEaL jOb, meanwhile I watched this woman just absolutely crush at making a good life for her and her family through her art. Her style and color theory is so distinct and has been such an inspiration in all my art endeavors. So I recently got to pick her brain a little on her process she uses now for the stunning pieces, and I’ve literally been dreaming of doing these pours since.

People always tell me how wild my pours are.. just wait. I’ve got a fire in me and it’s about to spill out in a cool way. 🔥🔥🔥
