Our Story
Our little happy place has something for everyone! A one of a kind store inspirational market with unique gifts, home and garden décor. Gilded Matilda's is located in downtown Wildwood, Florida right around the corner from The Villages near award winning dining and quaint shopping. It’s a place to be inspired, have a cup of coffee, relax, let your mind wander and bring out of town guests. We also offer a variety of art classes taught by our talented artists. Large groups, children and as well as private parties welcome. We have added a courtyard outside and the bathroom is a “must see” on Trip Advisor. Come play with us and plan to stay awhile!

Teresa and I enjoyed our Gilded Matilda's adventure yesterday, leisurely taking in all the amazing art, pottery, and jewelry to be found here.
What a wonderful way to pass an hour, and we got a huge jump on gifts for the upcoming holiday season. The little yard out back is filled with handmade yard art by local artists as well as colorful Calavera Pottery.
Back inside, the space is filled with more local artist’s handmade ceramic pieces, hand painted greeting cards, paintings, and much more.
Prices are quite reasonable and the available selections are extensive. Sandy, owner and welcoming hostess, was pleasant and extremely helpful.
Just a wonderful experience all around and a great way to lose yourself for a while. We will be back.
