The initial zombie uprising is expected to occur in a rural area just

outside of Newton, Kansas, with the hotbed of activity being located within a mile-long course traversing a corn maze and a wooded area. Consequently, our organization is urgently building up its forces and cache of weapons so we can mobilize zombie hunters on the weekends. The future of Newton and the world depends on the success of our missions. It has been proven that the safest method to hunt zombies at night is to group hunters together in the bed of a trailer with paintball guns mounted on swivels. This method ensures that hunters will not accidentally shoot other hunters with the zombie-neutralizing paintballs while also allowing hunters to always have other hunters protecting their backsides. Luckily, zombies are not intelligent creatures and are incapable of operating a paintball gun—in other words, zombies will not be shooting you but any failure to defend the trailer will result in the zombies overtaking your position. As a general rule, zombies will lie dormant from Sunday-Thursday, but zombies are unpredictable and cannot be trusted. It is rumored that random attacks may occur during those days/nights so our hunters need to be ready to move any day of the week and at a moments notice. Zombies are usually hunted during nighttime hours, but special on-foot hunts can be arranged during the daylight hours, if necessary, to take down the zombies when they are most vulnerable. The cost of joining the Kansas Zombie Hunters depends on the commitment level of each hunter. The cost of hunting is $22 per mission, which takes approximately 30 minutes and includes 100 paintballs and use of a mounted gun. There are two hunting trailers, one can transport 22 hunters and the other 16 hunters. Trigger-happy hunters may purchase additional paintballs before boarding the trailer or during the heat of the battle. Because small children are not effective zombie hunters, any child 9 and under must be accompanied by a paying parent or adult guardian. Hunts will start at 6:30, with new hunting parties going out every 30 minutes. Because nothing good happens after midnight, the last hunting party will go out at 11:00. You are advised to reserve a time slot (and fill out a waiver form) online before your arrival to ensure participation at a particular time, but you may take your chances by arriving without a reserved time slot. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your schedule time. Both before or after your mission, you will have an opportunity to participate in a shooting gallery and purchase concessions. Our Story

Kansas Zombie Hunters is the state’s newest organization dedicated to defending the world against zombie attacks. The organization was formed by ZH1 (Zombie Hunter One) after he received a credible threat report about a zombie apocalypse. The window of opportunity to destroy the zombies appears to be from the last weekend of September and through the month of October. The initial zombie uprising is expected to occur in a rural area just outside of Newton, Kansas, with the hotbed of activity being located within a mile-long course traversing a corn maze and a wooded area. Consequently, our organization is urgently building up its forces and cache of weapons so we can mobilize zombie hunters every Friday and Saturday from September 28 through October 27. The future of Newton and the world depends on the success of our missions. It has been proven that the safest method to hunt zombies at night is to group hunters together in the bed of a trailer with paintball guns mounted on swivels. Every Friday night, we benefit a different person or organization. In 2017, we were honored to give back to Emerie Masters, a brave child battling cancer. When she was able to come out, we loved seeing her smile when she was taking down the zombies! Other organizations we were able to benefit included: Victory in the Valley of Wichita, Pass in On: Outdoor Mentors for youth, Junior Railers Football Club and St. Mary Catholic School in Newton. We have a great list again for Friday nights in 2018 so check our page for updates!
