Cherry wood can have dark streaks which are natural features known as mineral streaks, gum spots, or pitch pockets. Sometimes they show up at the most inappropriate time, other times it is a rather fortunate time. One such fortunate time was with a rosary bead board I recently shipped. The streaks start at the center medal or joiner and continue down toward the cross. The streaks are through the thickness of the board, and show up on the back as well. I contacted the buyer and asked if they wanted the board, and if so, I would add the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the back at the start of the streaks.

Thank you Cecilia Simon for requesting a Rosary and Bracelet Bead Board. You had a lot of patience with all my questions and design iterations.

Cecilia wanted a double sided bead board. One side for rosary’s, the other side for bracelets. It needed to be compact to allow for bead work while not taking up a lot of space, and also needed to be portable.

This bead board is 8.5" X 14" (standard legal paper size) made from 3/4 inch cherry, finished with hand rubbed Danish Oil. The bead spheres are 10mm (0.395 inch) with a 1.5" X 2" cross.

We have two areas for removable hardware / bead trays. You can remove the light friction fit trays, and switch them to whichever side you are beading - rosary or bracelet. Each board includes two trays with engraving. If you choose to have your board engraved with a name, we can also engrave your name on the back of each tray. Additional trays can be purchased if you need more.

Kaba Creations was honored to be chosen by the Museum of World Treasures in Old Town to refresh the Huarong Dao sliding block puzzle! We were tasked with bringing this interactive piece back to life, and sharpening the details. New puzzle pieces were made using locally harvested wood, images cleaned up and laser engraved, and a durable clear finish was applied, allowing for many more years of hands on puzzle solving.

We have three small hearts available as possible Mother's Day gifts. The first one is engraved with "Hail Mary Full of Grace" and an image of a rosary. Makes a perfect tray to place your rosary. The other two are not engraved yet, and could be customized as you would like. Possibly an image of hands holding a babies feet for the first time mother.
