I am always so proud to direct the Air Capital Chorus. Serendipity seems to follow us in all we do. Last night, Paul, Galen, Isaac, Greg, Kadir, and James joined me on Zoom to edit and recast the Pirate show, Lost at C. We are bringing it back to help the Alzheimer's Association, planning for three performances this summer. They were so funny amazing and focused - I am not always focused when I write. LOL
We were able to contact the people not attending and get confirmation that they accepted their new roles in the show and completed the rewrite all in two hours. Thank you to Bruce, my co-author for the original script.
Then, today, I got a call from Jonnie Norton with the Alzheimer's Association. She was checking in to see how I am doing, and of course, we talked about the show. How wonderful that I was able to tell her that we are ready to start rehearsals!! She is looking for venues so if your church would like to sponsor one, let us know.
As I said, I love this chorus. These are people dedicated to barbershop singing, helping others, and excellence in both.
Have a musical day!
Always.... Mary
