I'm offering a few "Mommy and me" photos for Mother's Day. This can be mommy and her young ones or mom with her adult children. Indoors or outdoors. Outdoors will be $75 for 1/2 hour and indoors will be $150 for 1 hour. Included is 5 edited photos delivered via Dropbox along with a print release.

Lithophanes are similar to film negatives. Light shines through the thin and is blocked by the thick showing a detailed photo using contrast.
Nearly any photo will work but high contrast photos work best. Old black and white photos work very well.
There are many different types to choose from -- lights, nightlights or those lighted by tea lights.
Cost will vary from a little as $25 for a tea light where you supply the photo to more extensive electric lights where you have the photo taken by us.
These are very unique and durable gifts.
Even if you have an old family photo that needs restored, we can do the photo restoration and then apply that image to lithophane!

About Us

We are a mother/daughter team. Cindy takes care of all the photography and editing. Sarah is available for hair and makeup when needed. Sarah is a licensed cosmetologist and is currently the manager of a hair salon. Cindy has had a camera in her hand since the early 1980s. She honed her skills in the Army as a photojournalist. She continued her passion for photography after the Army in the newspaper businessness. It was during that era that she learned to retouch photos by hand using a 00 camel hair brush. Because she started in photography during the darkroom era, she approached digtal editing the same way. She edits photos one at a time and does not use batch editing tools or app at all. She believes that each photo should be finished and edited singly to give each one a special touch. She started TWI studios 11 years ago.
