Have you ever thought: “I’m fat.” “I’m old.” “I’m not enough.”

I was young once.

To all my female friends from 50 years and up:

Most of us are going through the next phase of our lives.

We’re at that age where we see wrinkles, gray hair, and extra lbs.

We see the cute 25-year-olds and reminisce. But we were also 25, just as they will one day be our age.

We aren’t the “girls in their summer clothes” anymore.

What they bring to the table with their youth and zest, we bring our wisdom and experience.

We have raised families, run households, paid the bills, dealt with disease, sadness, and everything else life has assigned us.

Some of us have lost those who were nearest and dearest to us.

We are survivors. We are warriors in the quiet.

We are women, like a classic car or a fine wine.

Even if our bodies aren’t what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage, and our strength.

We shall all enter this chapter of our lives with humility, grace, and pride over everything we have been through, and we should never feel bad about getting older.

It’s a privilege that is denied to so many.🌹

Ladies, I challenge you to copy and proudly paste with your picture and age.

Age 50, but it’s just a number 😏

Note: Mom to Taylor, Levi & Cody. Mamoo (Grandma) to Mila, Laramie, Dilly, & Alaina ♥️

“Pacific” 30 inch round. Sometimes it’s so hard not to be to critical of our own work?
Getting the composition of the elements & color that draw the eye in the correct position on a piece of this size, has proved to be quite the challenge.
I am fairly pleased though with how this turned out. What are your thoughts?

January, what a month it was! I met several milestones.
1. My 29th wedding anniversary!
2. I sold the most paintings I ever have in a month!
3. I sold my biggest painting ever! (Tiny Bubbles in picture)
4. And I reached over 2,000 followers.
I just wanted to give a big thank you to Stacy and Torrey from Hopping Gnome Brewery for letting me share my art all month. And to everyone working there who helped mark my paintings when they sold. I can’t tell you how much you boosted both my confidence in my art and in knowing others like my art too. Sometimes it’s hard to think positively of your own work.

The model your setting for local helping local should be followed by more businesses. It’s an awesome thing to do for people starting out.

And thank you to all who have been my customers and followed me and liked my page and shared with friends. Or checked out and subscribed to my TikTok and my YouTube & page. The loyalty of you all means so very much to me. So thank you all so very much 🥰😘♥️

“Tiny Bubbles” biggest resined piece yet. (30X48inch) This piece has lived in my head for about three years. Finally decided to go for it. First picture is without resin, then after. If you’ve never done a large canvas but want to, all I can say is go for it. Because it’s not as scary as it seems. Just make sure all your supplies are handy and ready when you start. Especially the right amount of paint and resin. How do you think it turned out?

This post is dedicated to and in support of all creatives who don’t get the recognition they should for all their hard work to create beautifully unique things. ♥️

Recently the subject of price came up on one of my posts.

I try to keep my prices reasonable. In fact have been told many times my prices are very reasonable.

I even try hard to purchase all supplies on sale in order to pass those savings on to you.

All I want to say is, the work you see done on this page is not all the work that goes into a piece.

Not to mention the money spent on all the supplies.

The time running all the social media pages in order to try to self promote our work.

The endless hours scouring the internet for the best prices.

Researching and studying techniques, and taking the time to practice them. And watching endless hours of videos until we get it just right.

Money spent on wasted materials from the practice.

The time spent preparing your painting areas.

Making dust free environments for drying properly.

Mixing paints to the proper consistency, and knowing which paints work best together.

Which things to mix into your resin, to give it that look you desire to reach.

Time spent thinking in a creative way, which does not always happen everyday.

Not to mention the love that goes into the project. It’s like a piece of our heart.

If you want to discuss price with an artist, do so in private messenger.

And if you don’t like the price of an item, don’t buy it.

Don’t tell the artist that’s too expensive, because you have no idea what your talking about.

My time is worth money just as anyone works a “regular job” is.

I’d never go to your work and say, “Looks like your getting paid to much for what you do!”

So please if it’s negative, just keep it to yourself. ✌🏻
