Why should you come to On The Stage this Saturday? Let’s talk about this unique show.
On The Stage offers a musical format that is rare in the world of performance, one that allows YOU, the audience, a proximity to the musical creation that no other show allows. The title is literal, of course, because you get to sit on the stage, but it’s about so much more than just the novelty of switching where you’re sat in the theatre. On The Stage allows you to shift your perspective, to leave behind the idea of being an audience member who is distant, observing only from behind that silent “fourth wall.” On The Stage allows you to relate to the performer in a direct and intimate way by removing the invisible and physical barriers that usually exist.
The musicians we bring for this series may be used to performing to massive crowds, but this time, they won’t be performing down to you from on high. They will be singing, creating music directly alongside you. Your presence and attention becomes a part of the experience.
That’s why you should attend. Not just to experience the masterful musicianship of Capathia this Saturday and other fantastic artists later in the season, but to be a part of the music making like never before.
