34 years ago this summer I was working as a summer temp employee for Presto (how the crap did I get so old!?). With that job came some amazing life-long friendships!

I was painting some crafts for a Presto friend's order last night and realized she was probably my company's longest running customer! It got me thinking and the nostalgia feels came out in buckets! 💦

I am SO THANKFUL for the loyalty, love, support, and friendships you've shown me and my family over the years!

The craft world ebbs and flows with the economy, but for over THREE DECADES you've supported us, and that is no small thing!

For me, knowing I get to bring beauty, heart, and peace to your home through decor fills my heart with joy! When I visit and see one of my pieces, my heart swells (and sometimes, so do my eyes 🥹).

Here is a wonderful cause to get behind!!!

Let’s Light the Right Match
It only takes one match.
In the wrong place, a single match can leave destruction behind. It can consume, divide,
and destroy in ways that cannot easily be undone.
But in the right hands, that same match can light a campfire where families gather, a
candle that offers comfort, or a lantern that helps someone find their way home.
Our community has been handed one of those matches.
The Preston Lions Club has stepped forward with a remarkable challenge. To help
improve accessibility throughout the West Side School District, the club has committed
to matching community donations, dollar for dollar, up to $15,000, to install automatic
handicap-accessible doors in our school buildings.
Think about who those doors will serve.
A grandparent coming to watch a Christmas concert. A veteran attending a school
assembly. A parent pushing a stroller while holding the hand of another child. A student
on crutches after an injury. A teacher recovering from surgery. Someone in a wheelchair
who simply wants to enter the building with the same dignity and independence as
everyone else.
Those doors will quietly serve thousands of people for years to come. Most of us won't
think twice as we walk through them. But for someone who has struggled to open a
heavy door, they'll represent something much bigger.
They'll say, You belong here.
That is the kind of legacy a community builds together.
The Preston Lions Club has spent decades living by its motto, "We Serve". This
matching donation is another example of neighbors helping neighbors, not because
they have to, but because they believe every member of our community matters.
Now it's our turn.
Every dollar given becomes two. Every gift, no matter the size, helps open another door.
Every donation says that accessibility, dignity, and inclusion are values worth investing
in.
We often wonder how we can make a difference in a world filled with problems that
seem too big to solve.
Sometimes the answer is much closer to home.

Sometimes it's as simple as opening a door.
Let's strike the right match. Let's choose one that doesn't destroy, but rather, builds.
One that doesn't divide, but welcomes. One that creates a brighter future for every
student, every family, every visitor, and every neighbor who walks through those doors
for years to come.
Together, can open some doors for some friends and neighbors!

Just a reminder in this scorching weather... We make this stuff weekly all summer long!

We had a friend call a couple of weeks ago needing some Lobster L**e for a friend. This is day one, day two after blistering horribly (when LL was started), and one week later.
The friend said the relief was immediate for her!

We LOVE getting texts like this and being able to help someone in pain!

We are 1000% lovers of fun in the sun ourselves, but we're also redheads, so the math doesn't math! This was our answer 🦞 ❤️

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

As a military brat, the Fourth of July has always meant a little more to me.

I grew up watching my dad serve our country for more than 30 years in the Army National Guard. His service taught me that freedom isn't something to take for granted, it's protected by ordinary men and women who quietly choose sacrifice, duty, and love of country every single day.

Those lessons shaped who I am. They taught me to love my hometown, cherish my family, hold tight to my faith, and never forget how blessed we are to live in this incredible nation.

At ITAVD, we celebrate moments, milestones, and memories because we believe those are the things worth protecting. The freedom to gather around the table, cheer at parades, worship according to our beliefs, build a small business, raise our families, and dream about tomorrow are gifts that generations before us fought to preserve.

Today, I'm grateful for every veteran, every active-duty service member, every first responder, founding father, and every family who has carried the weight of service alongside them. Thank you for all you've given so the rest of us can enjoy days like today.

From my family to yours, may your Fourth of July be filled with faith, family, laughter, and gratitude. God bless our troops, God bless our hometowns, and God bless the United States of America.🇺🇸

Help us give the warmest welcome to Kristi Torfin Hall , the creative (and slightly hilarious) force behind Dizzy Frog Designs! 🐸🧡

Kristi is the kind of person you can sit down with for five minutes… and suddenly you’ve been “jawing” for an hour and laughing the whole time. She’s kind, fun, just the right amount of sarcastic, and brings a whole lot of personality with her, and we are so excited to have her as part of the ITAVD crew. 💛

🐸 A little about Kristi (in her own words):
• Proud grandma to nine grandkids (yes, NINE ❤️)
• Loves the outdoors, yard work, four-wheeling, camping, and sitting around a good fire
• Can quote all the best movie lines at the perfect moment 🎬
• Has worked the same job for 36 years… and yep, she’s still “slinging drugs” as a pharmacy tech 😉
• Loves meeting new people and just sitting down to chat
• Believes nothing has to be perfect,just a little weird and super funny (we felt that)
• Sarcasm? Questionable llanguage? That’s her jam 😄
• A true Gen X soul,drank from the hose and didn’t come home until dark
• Loves crafting things that are totally out of the ordinary
