My heart is heavy with the loss of you.
The only father I ever knew.
Words can not express the sorrow I feel.
Living in the bliss of time.
Time we knew we did not have.
But time we did not take.
Time we can never get back.
Hopes and dreams fade like distant memories.
While thoughts of you run throughout my veins.
Moments that will never be weigh heavily on me.
But the time has come for you to rest your weary head.
Time to let go of the fear and embrace the calm.
Time to sleep, the forever sleep.
While you remain in my heart through every walk of life.
Every big moment, every small scrape, I know you are watching over me.
I have found peace in knowing you are at peace.
