I tried my hand at filming the making of this mural and it unfortunately left much to be desired. lots of editing later I was able to at least share this.
*I clearly should not be trusted with out caffeine in my system due to editing corrections that I realized I can only fix on Instagram.

Happy year of the horse!
Bud is a very good horse I promise. We were going around bitless and ba****ck on a cold day, he worked it out quickly and safely.

This year had its ups and downs, but it was a year of growth, filled with laughter and joy, dear family and friends who were like family. Hard learned lessons and putting in the work to make them stick.
May 2026 be a better year for everyone

I am very happy to share that I will be bringing some of my work to an open house for where he will be showcasing some of his pieces for sale and to inspire commissions.
If you have seen any of my painting videos you may recognize my drafting table in the flyer above. He and I also built and designed a coffee table together.
Many of my favorite pieces came from his work shop and I can't wait for this open house.

It was wild having my first "recycled art" piece come back to me. I really was experimenting with found materials and trying to find ways to make the pieces last and in all honesty it held up way better than I anticipated. You can even still see the holes from hardware I didn't know what to do with. This is also a testament to how the colors really haven't faded or had stains come through. It was in a warehouse office since I finished it and aside from some dust it looks the same as before.
I've definitely moved away from larger pieces just because they are harder to come by materials wise. My style has also changed a bit but I still see some of the parts I held onto.
