Just a reminder for those who weren’t there last Saturday and haven’t heard yet:

Divon Karaoke will no longer be hosting at Ty's Bar & Grill in West Richland.

I want to be transpatent about how I found out. Although I reached out, Steve, the owner, never spoke to me directly about the decision. He chose another host, and I found out through the grapevine.

I’ll be honest, I would have appreciated a simple conversation and the professional courtesy of being told directly, especially after everything we built on those Saturday nights.

What’s unfortunate is that the bartenders weren’t told either and were left to try and answer all the questions. They were just as surprised as I was. I don’t blame them or the new host, they didn’t make the decision and shouldn’t be put in the middle of it.

And let’s be real: our Saturdays had become some of the busiest, most fun, and most consistent nights Ty’s had. We had great crowds, regulars, new faces, and a whole lot of energy.

So I’m disappointed in how it was handled, but I’m not going to dwell on it.

I’m grateful for everyone who came out, sang, laughed, and supported Divon Karaoke. ❤️🎤

There were already some things brewing behind the scenes anyway… 👀

Divon Karaoke isn't going anywhere. On to the next chapter! 🎤🔥
