Results from Saturday’s Dirt Oval Mafia Points Race #5!

It was a great day of racing with “big race” competition in every class! Outlaw Sprint was the race of the day. A very stacked field and every car in the A main was fast enough to win it! Every driver had 95+% consistency rating! Very impressive.

We have a few weeks off and will be back racing Sunday November 1st!

Reminder that the new Midwest Mod rules will be in effect for that race!

Join us at Triple H RC Raceway for Championship Weekend! Remember, even if you're not in the points, you can still come and race. Every event is a trophy event. The rules are pinned at the top of the Dirt Oval Mafia page.

The season opened with a great afternoon of racing! 68 cars- including the new Losi Late Model class- was a great turnout! We also ran the Super Late Models (1/8 SC A mod chassis)- which we won’t run every week- but will every once in a while!

The new wall/layout felt good and the extra room in front of the drivers stand was welcome!

Thanks to all who came out and to those who helped me get the place ready for a race day!

What does one do when season is quickly approaching and it’s 99 degrees? 😂.

Thankful for a bunch of good buddies willing to get their hands dirty and put in some work.

Breaking news!

After much deliberation and discussion:

-The below changes have been almost unanimously voted in by the powers that be- starting with a motion from “The” Doug Stone and seconds from several that wish to remain anonymous.

-This class remains an upper skill level class. This is to make a very tight/competitive place for more experienced racers to have a blast with a spec class!

-Please note the Justock Combo and tire rule as noted below.

-The beginning of the season remains unchanged. This takes effect in November- to include the trophy races.

-This rule will remain for the season- but doesn’t mean it’s a forever thing. I am confident in the fact that once you try it- you’ll be hooked!
