Another great night of comedy for the Northwood community. Thanks to all the comics that came out and put on an amazing show. Big big Thank you to Victoria Amador for providing the playground for us to practice our art form. Everyone did an amazing job. Thank you JB Ball for making the trip down and not only crushing the room, but engaging with the South Florida comedy community, dropping gems of knowledge about the industry, and inspiring the younger comics to keep creating!

This couldn’t be possible without Brandon Hill who ran everything behind the scene and spent an immense amount of time promoting, hanging signs, setting up the room, and managing the production of the show. 7/27/19

LEGEND IN THE MAKING- COMEDY CONTEST $1000 GRAND PRIZE

Based on 5 judges opinions, who patiently watched over 40 auditions. Each judge came up with a list of their top 15 comedians. The list were then collected and mutually agreed upon comics made this FINAL list. Based on stage presence, originality, material and crowd laughter these were the names that were chosen. 18 Comics will now compete in the Saturday Showcase.

Comedy Contestants for 4/27 Showcase. In no particular order:

Legend in the Making contestants will be announced Sunday 4/21 at 7am! Right here at the Underground Legends Comedy Show page.

Thank you to all the comedians who submitted taped sets and showed up for the live auditions. We have a tremendous amount of talent in Florida and it was a crazy tough process to narrow the over 40 submissions to only 15 comics.

Comics were picked based on stage presence, originality, material and crowd laughter.

The 1st round will be Saturday 4/27 @ 9pm. Gonna be an amazing show!

Live Audition For Our First Annual "Legend in the Making" Comedy Contest will be Backstage Cafe - West Palm Beach. Friday 4/19/2019 @ 7pm

Auditions will be held on a first come first serve basis, beginning at 7pm and open until 10pm. Performers will be granted 3-5 minutes to perform their best comedy. A panel of judges will chose 15 candidates whom have auditioned live, and/or who have submitted a video link to [email protected] (video submissions will be closed 4/19/2019). Contestants will be notified after selections have been made no later than 4/21/19. Contestants will perform in front of a live audience on 4/27/19 . The New Vegan Restaurant & Juice Bar in West Palm Beach

4/27/19. 1st round of the contest. 15 comics will have 5 minutes each to perform their funniest bits for a live audience. Following the performances 3-5 comics will be chosen to advance to the final round on Friday 5/31/19. Finalists will be announced after all contestants have performed.

5/31/19- Final Round. Contestants will be asked to perform 10-15 minutes of their best comedy material in front of a live audience as a showcase and opening act for Headliner ERIK MYERS!! The winner will be announced and walk away with a $1000 check and a confirmed booked gig on the next showcase.

Judges will be made up of comedy producers who book shows throughout south fl with over 20+ years of experience combined. This can possibly lead to more bookings. Good luck Have fun and be ready! You're already a legend.
