This morning was
particularly intriguing.
I have a strong affinity
for the after-hours,
but I strive to strike
for a balance.

Consequently,
last night marked the second consecutive night
that I retired at 9 PM,
as I had an early day ahead
and a similar schedule today.

Interestingly,
I heard that the moonlight has the power to enhance our creativity,
and that when we are asleep by 11:11, our bodies are able to accomplish remarkable things at an accelerated rate.

I am, in essence, incorporating
this theory into my cardio routine.

I digress.
This morning,
upon waking,
I sensed the presence of my mother, with whom I have always shared a profound and passionately trying perspective strong armed connection.
As I gazed at the stained glass lamp piece I had purchased in her memory, it turned on.
I couldn't help but smile.
I inquired, 'Mother, is that you?'
Mom? Mommom? (Grandmother)
As I looked around, 
I noticed the only other light overhead had once again turned its self on.
I felt an overwhelming sense of peace, devoid of fear.

It was in that moment,
I realized that both my “mothers”embodies the love and light
of dark and light like day and night.
While my grandmother represents
the more resilient aspects of our family.
I am protected and guided at all times.

For both sides as my mom’s comfort would be under the moon. ✨🌙  and every hour week I spent with my grandmother creating to music fashion. She should’ve been movie star. We’d walk in the church and make the preacher blush Miss Presley. They called her. I hope our souls collide again 💫
Having spent a significant
amount of time alone, I have had the opportunity to reflect on my beliefs and have come to understand that
🖤I am never truly alone,
as long as I approach each
opportunity with the guidance
and support of my ancestors.

💬I walk with my Godmother Grace too, executing my endeavors with success and achieving happy endings.

After Hours Cinema is a syndicated late-night horror host television program which airs on approximately 25 stations nationwide, including broadcast stations in Mississippi, New York, and California, as well as being featured on The Monster Channel. The show celebrates classic horror, indie genre films, and the community behind them.

It is hosted by Gulf Coast native Lee Turner, whose passion for B-movies was sparked by late-night UHF and WTBS marathons. Breaking away from traditional comedic or costumed horror hosts, Lee is dubbed a "horror historian." Inspired by Creature Features host Bob Wilkins, he brings genuine insight, trivia, and a deep appreciation for low-budget cinema to each episode.

Beyond hosting, Lee is an active indie horror actor who has appeared in numerous films, including Daisy, TheCampusHouse.com, The Beast Beneath, Enterfear, Arachnado, and Mando's Machine, as well as being featured on the Kings of Horror network alongside Eddie Macabre.

The show frequently features collaborations with prominent indie horror figures—such as James Ian Mair, Michael Rodriguez, Sheri Davis, and Scream Queens Pamela Sutch and Jennifer Nangle—alongside stellar guest hosts like Dawn Duverger, Hunter Bickham, Sparkle Soojian, Jeff Dylan Graham, and Lilith Stabs.
