Today's inspiration story. Dan Trachtenberg, director of 10 Cloverfield Lane went from a short Portal fan film to directing a major Hollywood feature film. WIth his calling card short film and apparently an amazing pitch to J.J. Abrams he got the chance to make 10 Cloverfield Lane with J.J.'s company Bad Robot.

That big opportunity is sometimes one small short film away.
