Recently I was thinking about how nice it would be have a dog or cat again. That made me think about Maxie. Which in turn made me think about Lupe, who was for all intents and purposes, Maxie’s bodyguard. Like any cat, Lupe loved murderizing anything that moved but for some reason, she would always kept watch over the little old lady. Maxie was the least chihuahua chihuahua. That is to say she never chose to bark at strangers. Instead she would playfully “aroo” (yes, like Nixon in Futurama) and run in giant circles like a little maniac looking for a good scratch while on your lap.

Anyways, for Dia de Los Mu***os, I thought I would pay them a little tribute with a drawing. Best buds I ever had.

Here’s another nice moment. A group of Japanese visitors saw my drawing and shocked me with how shocked they reacted. They then gestured to hanging it up on the wall behind me. I probably turned a little red as I said “thank you so much” as they walked on by.

If you know me, I’ve always had a hard time receiving compliments. Okay so maybe I can draw half decently.
