For all those that participated in my theory post in the Adults Only: Crocheting and Knitting. Group! Hopefully you guys will find this post and see the results! So sorry I wasn’t able to comment it on the original post!!!
Ok, so, first I would like to say thank you so much to all those that participated in answering my theory post! You guys are truly awesome and this has been so fun to look through! I took the time to read each one and tally it up on a spreadsheet to support my theory (If your comment has a ❤️ from me, I was able to count yours! So sorry to anyone I wasn’t able to grab before they turned off the comments). So sorry I couldn’t make this comment on the original post also, so I hope you all find this and get your answers! I’ll also be adding it to my page, just in case anyone decides to look there! As it seems the admins turned off commenting on my theory post, I’ll give you guys my theory and what I figured out so far, and it’s WILD! So, I’ve been operating under the assumption that if you were better at math and the sciences, then knitting was the craft for you. Subsequently, if you were better at the humanities, then crochet was the craft for you. Apparently, thanks to your guys’s openness, and honestness, this is not the case! Now, I know this is not the most scientific of processes as we had a lot of potential error points, just keep in mind this is all for fun. 🙂 We had more crochets, or people that did both than we did strictly knitting, but I’m looking at each category separately, and to the best of my abilities at this time! 🙂 In knitting, more people said they liked or did better at the humanities and were terrible at math! For the crochets, more of you guys did better or liked math and science more! And to be honest, those that did both started with one, and then later in life went to the other one and those categories were actually pretty 50-50 between the math and sciences, and the humanities, or you guys were just good at both (You guys rock! I was NOT one of those people! 🤣). So the real data from what I gathered from the comments is: knitting – 20 for math and sciences, 23 for the humanities, 5 for arts, 7 for all subjects, 0 for none. Crochet – 209 for math and sciences, 187 for the humanities, 40 for the arts, 65 for all subjects, and 15 for none. And if you did both knitting and crochet – 52 for math and science, 54 for the humanities, 7 for the arts, 41 for both, and 2 for none. Again, this was so fun to see! Thank you guys so much for participating and I hope everyone finds this and is just as shocked as I was! 🤣 Have a great day!!!!!
