New painting - “Girl on Fire” - in the language of flowers, Marigolds are associated with creativity, and after painting so many of their intricate folds, I can see why! The fresh marigolds are from Carolina Flowers - and the new painting will be available today on my website.

“My Time to Bloom.” Change can be hard, but we can learn so much from the flowers - like the Protea which blooms amid fire, drought and harsh conditions but adapts like “Proteus” to find her path. I’ve also added zinnias for friendship and asters as a reminder that it can be fabulous to be a late bloomer. Coming soon to my website!

Flowers have their own energy and emotion - just like friends. This new piece, “Sparkler” featuring pincushion flowers, sea holly and billy buttons felt like a firework show to me as the blue and orange (and glitter!) vibrated with color. Now available on my website. Link in bio & stories today.

New zinnia mixed media piece, “She Lives Her Life in Color.” Lots and lots of fun layers in this bouquet, and the word ‘it’ showed up randomly under my hummingbird’s beak… which made me sing this song by the Bangles for the rest of the painting! ‘She’s got it…’ Available soon on my website.
