That’s a wrap for the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you to all the parents & families, students, teachers, staff, pta volunteers and community.

We accomplished so much this year, and are planning even more for next year!

We’re continuing our summer popsicles in the park, so stay tuned for those dates.

UPDATE!

Unfortunately the forecast came true and the rain is here. Because of this we are cancelling our Party on the Playground for this evening.

We will make sure our back to school event is bigger and better to make up for this!

Thank you all for your support and attendance to our events this year! We love seeing the community come together.

Stay tuned for a few dates over the summer!

Reminder that this Friday is Field Day AND color run AND party on the playground 2 (or as I am affectionately dubbing it POP2) 🤣

We have 3 food trucks coming! Both those that were at the glow night and the popcorn/treats truck from our first POP night!

Rain is in the forecast, so be on the lookout for any changes to the plan, otherwise we hope to see you there!

Our LAST family event of the school year is NEXT Friday June 5th.

Join us to celebrate the year and party in the playground one more time!

We will have food trucks and music. Bring the family (maybe some chairs) and take in the smell of fresh cedar from the new playground updates!!

Teacher Appreciation Week starts Monday! And since it happens to fall on the 4th…We’re going full Star Wars.

New this year - the PTA is bringing the kids into the mix. They should be part of this celebration…and really, the thanks means a lot more coming directly from those students.

We’ve got a fun dress up theme each day, and an idea for a way to thank their teacher along with it. Check out the favorites list for some ideas from your teachers:)

And don’t worry - the teachers and staff have a whole additional line up of treats each day.
If you haven’t signed up to donate yet, you can still do so (with items or a donation).

Wether your part of the rebellion, part droid, or identify more with Vader, the only requirement this week - be kind to your teachers you must.

WOW!

Pretty sure I’ve started every post this way this year…but were blown away each time:)

The 1st annual Glow Night was a success!! It was amazing to see our families enjoy a beautiful spring night together dancing on the glowing dance floor in the gym (assembled by some amazing grandparents), getting decorated by a volunteer face painter (family of an Irving student) or adorned with tattoos by our fabulous PTA board members and volunteers, supporting local vendors like Southside Sippers, Big E’s Epic Eats and El Flamazo, or spreading out on the schools front lawn to play.

A HUGE thank you to the volunteers, DJ Greger, our vendors and as always, Mrs Gosch, for supporting our families!

Can’t wait for our next one!!

TONIGHT!

We’ve got dinner planned for you! Come to the school for our glow party, but plan to eat! We’ve got 3 local food trucks that are coming by!

All trucks will be on the south side of Grant St. They should be in place around 5:30. Glow party doors open at 6!

Tomorrow!!!

Join us for the first glow night at Irving! This night will not only have music from DJ Gregor, but we’ve got glow games, face paint, temporary tattoos…AND some good eats from some local food trucks that will be on Grant!

Come for some food, stay for the fun!
