Calling All Wendell Businesses!

Help us celebrate Wendell Dairy Days 2026 by joining our Business Decoration Contest! This year’s Dairy Days theme is:

❤️🤍💙 “Red, White, and MOO!” 💙🤍❤️

We invite local businesses to decorate storefronts, offices, windows, and displays to show off your creativity, community pride, and patriotic spirit for a chance to win the Moo Award and local recognition! 🏆

Decoration ideas can include:
🐄 Patriotic colors & dairy/agriculture themes
🇺🇸 America’s 250th Birthday celebration & military appreciation
📸 Wendell history, local heritage, and memorabilia

We encourage all participating businesses to have decorations completed by June 1st. Judging will take place during the week of Dairy Days, June 19–20, 2026.

We are excited to bring a car show back to Dairy Days this year!

🍳 FREE Breakfast (7:30 AM – 10:00 AM) at the Wendell Senior Center – 380 1st Ave E

👕 1 FREE T-Shirt with entry

🎓 Wendell Dairy Days Scholarship Opportunity 🎓

Wendell Dairy Days Inc. is proud to offer tiered scholarship awards totaling up to $2,500 for Wendell High School seniors and graduates pursuing higher education in the agriculture industry.

This opportunity is made possible by the generous support of our local businesses, agriculture producers, sponsors, and community donors who continue to invest in the future of agriculture and our community.

Applications are available at the WHS Counselor’s Office or you can reach out to us via email and we can send you one. Our email is [email protected]

📅 Application deadline: May 7th

We are also looking for volunteers in the agriculture industry to serve on our scholarship selection committee. If you are interested in helping invest in the next generation of ag leaders, please reach out to us.

Calling all interested in participating in Dairy Days this year—either as a vendor or as a parade participant! We truly appreciated all the participation we had last year and are looking forward to another amazing year!

Vendors:
Our vendor application deadline is approaching! We will not accept any applications after May 20th, and vendor spots will be assigned by June 10th on a first come, first served basis.

Parade Participants:
The parade will be Saturday, June 20th. Participants are welcome to start line up as early at 8 am. The parade will start at 10am. The theme is the same as our event, "Red, White, and Moo." There will be a $20 fee to participate. If you are interested in being part of the parade, applications can be picked up and dropped off at City Hall. Mark you calendars for June 19-20 and get ready to celebrate “Red, White, and Moo!” at this year’s Wendell Dairy Days!

In honor of A250, we’re joining in the celebration of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary in 2026. This milestone recognizes the history, pride, and traditions that have shaped our nation — including the people, agriculture, and communities that helped build it. Here in our area, the dairy industry plays a big role in that story, and we’re excited to celebrate it together.

Join us as we celebrate our community, agriculture, and American spirit with a weekend full of fun. Stay tuned for announcements about events, activities, and everything we have planned for Wendell Dairy Days!

We’re excited to announce that Wendell Dairy Days will return June 18–20 this year! We look forward to celebrating with the community again and can’t wait to share more details with you. Be sure to follow along and stay tuned for updates.
