Flowers for Drying ✨

We grow a variety of flowers that are perfect for drying!

Ammobium, strawflower, statice, feverfew, and larkspur hold their beautiful color long after they’ve been harvested, making everlasting bouquets even more special.

Bunny tails are new to us this year, and how can you not be obsessed with them? Their soft, fuzzy blooms truly look like little bunny tails and add the sweetest texture to fresh or dried arrangements.

One of the best things about dried flowers is that they allow you to enjoy a piece of the flower farm long after the growing season has passed.

Like little moments frozen in time, these flowers preserve the beauty of the season, allowing it to linger in your home long after the last blooms have faded.

We were a little too busy celebrating my dad to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Father’s Day!

Harry to most, but Dad to me.

He does it all. From fixing just about anything, to wrangling snakes out of the chicken coop and relocating them to safer spots around the farm. He loves every animal that calls Sunshine Farm home, grows some fabulous sunflowers, thriving hops, and delicious vegetables, all while working full-time as a heart and vascular nurse.

His work ethic, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need never cease to amaze me. Sunshine Farm would not be what it is today without him.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. We love you and appreciate everything you do♥️

You know what Friday night means! 🌻

It means the WilsonFarmers&ArtisanMarket is tomorrow morning from 8 AM to 12 PM! Stop by and grab a beautiful bouquet of locally grown flowers straight from our farm💐

The sunflowers are finally here, bringing all the summer sunshine with them! ☀️🌻 And we’re enjoying another beautiful flush of our heirloom roses, whose fragrance is absolutely out of this world. If you’ve only experienced grocery store roses, you’re in for a treat because these old garden roses fill the air with the most incredible perfume🌹✨

And if you can’t make it to the market, The Optimist Raleigh Coffee Shop is stocked with fresh cut Statice (aka Sea Lavender)! 💜

This gorgeous flower is one of my favorites because it transitions beautifully from fresh to everlasting. Simply hang it upside down to dry, and enjoy its color and beauty for months and months and months.
